Hello from northeast Indiana, where we just finished a college show on our final leg of touring for the rest of the year. Whew! We’ve seen a LOT of the inside of the Jetta since June.

We’ve also seen some beautiful places and met some amazing people since then, too. During a couple long drives across the west last week, I relived all the adventures from our 2013 Summer House Concert Tour while putting together this little video for you. It’s set to a live recording of “We Are On Fire” from the house concert in Gayle & Michael Collins’ home in Houston, Texas at the end of August.

It was a really, really wonderful summer. 50 hosts opened their homes and invited their friends for 50 unforgettable nights of the most connective and magical way of sharing and experiencing music that I’ve ever been a part of.

I can’t thank all our hosts enough for being so hospitable and welcoming to us. We made a treasure-trove of new friends in all of the people we met each night. And we have buckets of memories, stories, and love that we’re bringing home with us after our second amazing summer of house concerts. I feel like the luckiest girl in the music business.

We can’t wait to do it again next year.
