Record Tracklist

  1. Where I Was Broken -:-- / -:--

In the moments after
Shock and sadness had their
way with me, they came like waves
Tried to find my footing
As the world kept turning
And darkness chased out the day

And I looked down and everything was broken
Kneeled to the ground with the pieces, I couldn’t hold them
And with bleeding fingers stacked them one by one, until before my eyes
A tower stood much higher, shone much brighter, catching all the light
Reflecting down on the same hard ground where I was broken

Little hands are reaching
In the dark to lead them
Oh, where do we go from here?
I look into their faces
And I don’t have the answers
I wonder if grace can find us here?

And I looked down and everything was broken
Kneeled to the ground with the pieces, I couldn’t hold them
And with bleeding fingers stacked them one by one, until before my eyes
A tower stood much higher, shone much brighter, catching all the light
Reflecting down on the same hard ground where I was broken

Maybe I won’t ever be just like I was before
But maybe that’s the point, perhaps the pieces become something more
Reimagined and reborn

And I look down, everything is broken
Kneel to the ground with the pieces, I cannot hold them
And with bleeding fingers stack them one by one, until before my eyes
A tower stands much higher, shines much brighter, catching all the light
Reflecting down on the same hard ground where I was broken
