Hello from the VW Jetta on Interstate 80 between Des Moines and Iowa City, the third and final time we’ve traveled this stretch of road on this tour! My first -ever trip to IC tonight was fun, and last night’s show in DSM was so good, it’s poised to be a highlight of the tour when all the dates are done. … But I dare the rest of the tour itinerary to challenge it’s status. It’s been such a great pleasure to play the last four shows with Roxi Copland. She and I aren’t done yet: tomorrow night we’re headed to Kansas City and later this month we’ll rendezvous in Chicago (Nov 21, to be exact). Check out the rad photo of her opening tonight’s show in Iowa City.
