Welcome to my brand-new video series called Songs From Home : a series of live performances from my home. This one was filmed in my writing room, so if you’ve been curious about the room where “all the magic happens,” now you can see it for yourself.

For this very first episode, I’m going into the wayback machine to perform a song from the first EP I put out as a solo artist back in 2007. The song is “Before the Sun,” and has become one of my most-loved songs, due in part to its appearance in an episode of The Hills on MTV.
