New EP, Summer Tour: coming right up! And, “Help, please!”

Hi there boys and girls!

Let’s synchronize our watches, er, calendars: July is the month I’ll be hitting the road in the VW once again with a brand-new EP in my hand and a whole lotta love songs to play for you! Yeehaw!

The EP was produced by Grammy-winner Charlie Peacock (Switchfoot, Sixpence None the Richer) in Nashville and is being mixed here in LA by Joe Zook (One Republic, Modest Mouse, Katy Perry). It features some amazing musicians: Jerry McPherson (guitar), Mark Hill (bass), Steve Brewster (drums), Matt Slocum (of Sixpence on cello), and Reggie Grisham (of Denver and the Mile High Orchestra on trumpet). You’re gonna flip. It sounds really good. And the really cool part about this EP is that its production was funded by YOU, my friends. Thank you again to all of you who made it possible for me to go to Nashville and make this record. I hope you love it. 🙂

And then the really fun part begins! I’ll be drive, drive, driving to your city and play, play, playing for you in July and August. Keep in touch with my blog because as new dates are added, you’ll be the first to know.

And here’s where I’d like YOUR HELP: What venue in your city would you like to see me play? What local artists in your town are hot? (I’m always looking for a great local musician to pair up with.) What’s the best place in town for breakfast? Haha! 😉  Seriously, I need your help to make it all happen, so chime in! Place a comment here on the blog, or email me.

I hope you’re all doing great. I can’t wait to see you again. Soon!
